INDIVIDUAL DIFFERENCES

Dear collegues

We will try to raise awareness under this topic via our students.

Disability has no language, religion, race, sect !

Our students are much more sensitive than adults in this regard.

Although countries vary, every teacher will have the chance to work with these special children. So this actually makes us empathetic.

Under this title, we want to proceed with a unifying style without separating our works.

Thanks in advance.

World Down Syndrome Day (WDSD) , 21 March, is a global awareness day which has been officially observed by the United Nations since 2012.

The date for WDSD being the 21st day of the 3rd month, was selected to signify the uniqueness of the triplication (trisomy) of the 21st chromosome which causes Down syndrome.

World Down Syndrome Day (WDSD) , 21 March

Down syndrome (or Trisomy 21) is a naturally occurring chromosomal arrangement that has always been a part of the human condition, being universally present across racial, gender or socioeconomic lines in approximately 1 in 800 live births, although there is considerable variation worldwide. RENGİMİZ BELLİ OLSUN

We have a message for you on March 21st, World Down Syndrome Day!

March 21 is a day adopted by the United Nations decision in 2011 to raise awareness about "Down syndrome".

Different colored socks worn to raise awareness about Down syndrome all over the world have become the "collective awareness" movement adopted by individuals with Down syndrome.

Now; With your support, we will wear our socks in different colors on March 21st and we will show that it is not a deficiency to be different by challenging each other, that everyone is an indispensable part of the world like different colors and complements each other.

You can support us by wearing your different colored socks on your hands or feet and taking your photo.

Hello, 21 March is World Down Syndrome Awareness Day. Down syndrome occurs when the 21st chromosome pair is divided into three as a result of a genetic disorder. But true friends don't count chromosomes.
We are aware!
We are with you!
We complement each other.

Autism Awareness Day
(April 2)

Dear collegues,

Autism is very important for me, because i have a relative with autisim.

So it's the best way to start searching "What is Autism?" and "Why do we celebrate this day?"

We will learn at first and then we can raise awareness at our students.

What is Autism ?

Autism spectrum disorder is a complex neurodevelopmental difference that is congenital or presents in the first years of life. Autism is thought to be caused by certain nervous system problems that affect the structure or functioning of the brain.

Why do we celebrate Autism Awareness Day?

The United Nations General Assembly unanimously declared 2 April as World Autism Awareness Day (A/RES/62/139) to highlight the need to help improve the quality of life of those with autism so they can lead full and meaningful lives as an integral part of society.

I am sure that you and your students will make great contributions

Thanks in advance.
